Generations of Amlwch residents have lived in the shadow of, and climbed the slopes of, Parys Mountain, on Anglesey. No wonder that residents of the island have a warm place for the mountain in their hearts. At one time this was the busiest and most important industrial site in Wales. It is unique in having both Roman and Industrial Revolution remains on the same site.
