A volume based on the 2004 Davies Lecture, by a minister of religion who has taken an interest in drama since his college days. Plays are discussed since the beginnings of the art form in early Greece, until to present day. Special attention is paid to Welsh-language drama, and an attempt is made to show the value and significance of plays in understanding life and faith.
