Tintin's adventures take him back to the Middle East, and an explosive start to the story amidst the burning political atmosphere of the 1950s. Somehow Tintin, Milyn, Parry-Williams and Williams-Parry have joined the crew of the Speedol Star tanker en route eastwards, docking at the port of Khemekho-Leone in the kingdom of Khemed.
